Teia Merring, Senior Investment Director, USS Investment Management Ltd
Teia is a Senior Investment Director in the Private Equity Funds and Co-Investment team at USS Investment Management (~£75bn AUM), overseeing private equity fund and co-investment allocations across sectors and regions and serving on several supervisory boards. From 2020 to 2025, she served on the ILPA Board of Directors, including two years as Chair, and now sits on the ILPA Policy Committee, focusing on policy, regulation, and industry standards. Teia joined USS in 2011 after working in Goldman Sachs’ Healthcare investment banking division. She holds an MSc in Applied Economics and Finance from Copenhagen Business School and studied at IIM Ahmedabad.
