Aidan McEvoy, Head of Asset Management, Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
Aidan McEvoy is Head of the Asset Management & Funds Department in the FCA’s Wholesale Buy‑Side Division. Since joining the FCA (and previously the FSA) in 2012, he has held several supervisory and leadership roles, overseeing teams, managing firm relationships and shaping the FCA’s asset management supervisory strategy as a former portfolio lead. Before joining the regulator, he spent over five years at Morgan Stanley, including time in the investment front office. He holds an MSc in Finance and Economic Development and an MA in Economics. Aidan has also served as a Trustee of Down’s Syndrome Scotland since 2019.
